Memphis to Oklahoma City

We arrived in Oklahoma City today, not without concern. We had seen weather reports from our motel room in Memphis this morning of possible severe thunderstorms, hail and possible tornadoes in Oklahoma. When I walked into our motel in Oklahoma City this afternoon, the tv was broadcasting tornado warnings. We are still under a tornado watch. The tornadoes, softball sized hail and thunderstorms are presently north of us and the tv weather persons are as fanatic about tornadoes as weather persons in Tampa are about hurricanes. We are watching the tv, as they have continuous coverage of the storms to the north of us.

All of this should clear out overnight and tomorrow should be better as we head to Texas.
