Tennessee

Day one of our trip west took us to Sevierville, TN , pronounced Severe-ville. Bill had the early morning drive from Raleigh through heavy rain. By the time I took over, the sun was coming out and the drive very easy. After checking in at the Best Western, we drove to the Smoky Mt. Nat'l. Park and took the driving tour through Cades Cove. When not driving through woods and seeing turkeys, deer, a bear and a wolf, we saw mountain vistas such as in the photo. A nice drive, but too long--an 11 mile one-way, single lane loop--and too repetitive.

  1. A repetitive view like that is still better than going to work!
